Is CRF for you?

CRF was formed because three types of people live in Ashland. Perhaps you know someone, or you yourself can identify with one of them.

The Spiritually Dead
The Church of Jesus Christ exists to call sinners unto repentance and new life. Many people in Ashland live in rebellion against God and are under His wrath and curse. This church seeks to expand God’s kingdom by spreading the good news of the salvation found in Jesus.

The Misled
The spiritual lives of some Christians in Ashland languish because they have not been directed properly in the faith. Through Biblical preaching, in-depth Bible study, and study of the Church’s historic creeds and confessions this church offers the child of God right guidance so that they may walk in the path of righteousness.

The Underfed
Not all are taught wrong things, but many believers in Ashland suffer because they are not taught enough. Their souls are gaunt and their walk is slow because they lack proper nutrition. This church seeks to unfold the fullness of God’s grace in Jesus by teaching the whole counsel of God. Our desire is that through this diligent nurture the Lord’s people may grow up to maturity and be equipped for every good work.

As a mission church of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), Covenant Reformed Fellowship is designed for those who long for a deeper understanding of God’s Word and a closer walk with Jesus. Our goal is to make and nurture disciples of Jesus Christ through Biblical teaching, traditional worship, and continual outreach. With the rich heritage of the 16th and 17th century Protestant Reformation in our background we make it our mission to engage today’s people and culture with the truths of God’s enduring Word. While sharing evangelical ties with other churches in Ashland, CRF is distinctive because our beliefs are both Reformed and Covenantal. A full exposition of our beliefs may be found in The Westminster Standards.

By the grace of God, the PCA is one of the fastest growing denominations in North America. Ever since its conception in 1973, the PCA has sought to be a denomination that is faithful to the Scriptures, evangelistically minded, and committed to Reformed doctrine.
